Beth at work in her studio creating large portraits as well as closeups of flowers using newsprint, mixed paper and acrylic paint.
Art has always been an important part of Beth’s life, especially understanding and expressing the human form. She was constantly sketching as a child, studied art at the Sorbonne in Paris while in college, and for the past 5 years has been evolving her technique from pastel, to painting, and now utilizing newspaper and comic strips to create this unique outcome. Similar to her art, Beth’s life is like a collage. She is a mother, wife, physical therapist, bicycle racer, friend, and gardener. All of these passions are reflected in her art.
